Half & Half Class
This is a class for ANYONE! It will consist of 25 minutes Foundational Concepts and Grammar, and 25 minutes of Intermediate style Conversations. This is intensive, like drinking an Espresso for Spanish. We believe that this is a class where Intermediate students receive a good foundation, and for Foundation/Beginner students to have an Intermediate experience and begin to train their ears to listening/understanding Spanish. ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME!

Private Class
60 minutes private class
at Franklin Spanish's location.
If you are fully committed to learning Spanish and would prefer to have a full class all to yourself, you can book a private lesson. Once a week is the minimum required, and a 3-month commitment is required to book this lesson.
Although once a week can work if you are a very disciplined person, (and you do your homework diligently), we recommend twice a week to make you feel more confident and to be able to train your ear.
Our goal is to make you feel comfortable being around Spanish speakers in 3 months; in 6 months, you will feel confident by meeting and greeting new people and you will have the courage to ask and answer basic personal questions; and... in one year, you will be able to have friendly, longer conversations with new people.
Pricing:
Drop in Private: $100.00 for a drop in private
Once a week : $75.00 per class ($300.00 at month)
Twice a week: $50.00 per class ($400.00 at month)

Foundations or Intermediate?
It's up to you!! You can choose the method with which you want to learn.
There are people who learn Spanish by working in the kitchen of a Mexican restaurant. There are others who learn by asking "how to say", and others by watching YouTube videos. Still others learn by studying on their own.
We believe that you can learn in any environment, as long as you are truly interested in learning.
You are welcome to choose in which environment you would prefer to learn: in FOUNDATIONS, which is a more didactic class and is where all the solid foundations for good Spanish are established. Or, if you prefer to learn through an intermediate conversational style, you will dive into listening to 100% Spanish conversations and phrases and asked to begin speaking right away. However, we will recommend which classes to sign up for based on your Induction.
Many think that foundations is only knowing the "greetings" and a few more basic words, but NO! Foundations is very extensive and one only becomes an Intermediate level when the magimanete ear begins to recognize the sounds, the brain no longer translates, and one begins to understand most things one hears and reads.
How do I know what my level of Spanish is?
Popularly, there are several methods to measure Spanish level. However, we have our own measurement, since for us, it is easy to determine your level using the following method:
1.- If your brain no longer translates; if you already understand 70% of what you hear in Spanish fluently, but you have a hard time speaking; you have a hard time conjugating verbs, but above all, you have a hard time putting together sentences... You are intermediate.
2. If you can maintain a fluent conversation for an hour; you understand 85% of what you hear; you answer in a timely manner, but sometimes it is difficult for you to express yourself; it is difficult for you to conjugate verbs, and it is difficult for you to construct sentences; therefore at times you are left without understanding because you did not know some words... Your level is advanced intermediate.
3. If you are unable to hold a conversation for 20 minutes; if you do not understand less than 50% of what you hear, or you get lost in a conversation... then you need to study Foundations.
