Spanish for Kids
$175.00 USD
Children “acquire” a language from birth to 5 years of age. After age 5, they can still experience language acquisition by hearing and using it daily because their brains absorb the new material more easily, but even so, learning is necessary. Although children learn more easily than adults, they still take time to show the progress. It has been confirmed that children learn best in play and daily routines, and that includes language learning!
At Franklin Spanish, we will learn with a combination of typical schoolroom activities and explanations, as well as play typical Hispanic games, learn songs and dances, draw, watch videos/shows, etc. We will also play digital games like Kahoot, Blookit, Quizlet, Jeopardy, and Bingo. We will do worksheets, use flashcards, and read books! The teacher will try to speak in Spanish most of the time, with explanations in English, and aid the students to respond and repeat in Spanish as well. The idea is to learn vocabulary in daily repetition, and to make it so fun that they will not even realize they are learning!! 😊 Come Learn with Us!!!
KIDS classes available Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m.
