ABOUT
Spanish Classes in Franklin, TN!!
Williamson County is known for valuing education, and people move here from all over to have quality schools. One requirement for graduation, and also something that affects the GPA, is passing two years of a foreign language. Most schools offer Spanish for that requirement. Franklin Spanish was founded in 2019 with this in mind, and noticing there was a lack of foreign language help in the area for kids, youth, and adults. Learning Spanish in school is a challenge for many students, and they often need extra tutoring beyond the classroom. In addition, daily we hear adults say how much they wish they knew Spanish to help communicate with their clients, patients, or employees. We hear parents wish for their young children to learn Spanish at an earlier age than adolescence. We hear of medical staff wishing they had paid attention in Spanish class. Due to these growing needs and more, our VISION is to be the county's "go-to" for Spanish language learning and services, and to inspire an interest in Spanish language and cultures.
We also believe it is important for our Community to know more about our Latin American neighbors, especially with Spanish being the second most-spoken language in the world. Learning Spanish has become a necessity for success, but it is also a tool for communicating; for traveling effortlessly; for making new friends; for involving our fellow Latinos in community efforts; etc. Relationships are key in every aspect of life, and Spanish opens up more opportunity.
Our MISSION is for each student to learn to read, write, listen/understand, and speak the Spanish language comfortably and confidently. Also, to comprehend a bit about the different Hispanic cultures in the 21 countries that hold Spanish as their official language.
